Why does Coco love her Dream Seat? The question really is why wouldn’t Coco love her Dream Seat? She’s as good as being on my lap – or better. She’s sitting next to me at my height on a luxuriously plush seat that she can lay down in and feel totally secure and happy.
So, let’s ask Coco why she loves the Dream Seat. Here are Coco’s words, straight from the puppy’s mouth.
Hi, I’m Coco Chanel and I am a very loved very spoiled twelve-year-old Havapoo who lives in the best world with a great mommy and lots of family and friends, both human and not human.
I am a very lucky girl. Life was almost great growing up. Mommy was in and out during the day and night. We were a pair. She took me everywhere she could and when she couldn’t, I waited for her at home. I never really complained about being a dog, but once I passed puberty, I realized that it does have its disadvantages. The major let down is having to sit on the floor while the humans are doing their thing. It’s an eye-opener when you realize that you have four legs and cannot stand up like humans. The other sad fact is that I can’t speak. Humans can, so I couldn’t tell mommy that I didn’t like being on the floor. I liked sitting on her lap but let’s be honest, it’s not really luxurious. I used all of my resources to let mommy know my issues and I know she tried, but she didn’t understand. When Covid struck and mommy was home all day, life was challenging. I was needy. I wanted to be on her lap or next to her on the desk or wherever she was in the house, but honestly my behavior was annoying.
I heard mommy sharing this problem with other mommies. She is so clever. She conceived of this seat for me. It’s essentially a home office seat for a small dog like me; I could sit up high and it would be plush and she could wheel me around the house. I heard her talking about this idea and I heard her say that she tried finding one on google but it just didn’t exist.
She searched for dog luxury, designer dog beds, luxury pets, posh paws, and on and on and there was nothing…Wow! So she had one made for me. Oh joy. What a life-changer! I could sit with her while she worked or cooked or had a meal. It was so comfortable that I was able to relax and fall asleep. She jokingly referred to it as my “dream seat”. I was in heaven.
The great thing is, unlike other small dog seats that I’ve seen my friends use, this one also has wheels! I loved being rolled around the house and being a part of mommy’s life. My wish came true. I liked my Dream Seat so much, I kept thinking that my pals would love one too. I tried hinting this to mommy but without words, it’s not so easy. When my friends came over for a play date, their mommies put my pals in the Dream Seat. I heard the mommies’ reaction when they saw it and then when they put their puppies in the dream seat, they loved it!
Her friends convinced her to make the Dream Seat so other puppies could share this experience. I must confess and if I could talk to other puppies, I could tell them what they’re missing. No more sitting on the floor. You’re sitting right next to your human in this ultra-plush seat and you can see everything they’re doing. The best part for me is seeing what they’re eating. You see – and here’s my secret- appeal to their guilt--how can you sit there while they eat and there’s nothing for you. They’ll get the message and before you know it, you’re getting your treats.
It took a while for mommy to get the Dream Seat to market. It’s finally available for all you small dogs and puppies. You’ll thank me, after all I did the work and you can get the reward. So do whatever it takes to get the message to your humans and experience sharing their world like never before.
